Give us something to talk about

I have recently been working on a blog-site that has challenged me to design for web and print. I have had to consider how i can apply type, layout, format and colour to both chaennels.

These are the titles that have now gone live on the blogsite,

Some initial drafts of the new typeface i have been working on, there is a legible version and a more illustrative/decorative version. The type have been inspired by the environment. The type is quite structural, it has some geometric qualities whilst still trying to maintain a fluent tune (In the words of Bruno Maag). Not sure who checks this blog, but, if anyone is looking then let me know what you think i should change. It is my first 'realistic' typeface (even though I'm not sure what that word means).
